Advocate design with company-wide UX Onboarding
We rolled out a company-wide UX onboarding.
Every new hire went through a 2-hour workshop we ran.
In the workshop, we set expectations around our role:
- what we do day-to-day
- what our process look like, with examples of output
- how to reach out to us and what for
- plus a hands on design thinking exercise
How long to create UX onboarding?
It didn’t take long to create, but it took a while to execute.
Since we were growing so fast, we did UX onboarding every week for 20-30 people.
We rotated who would present, and by the end of the quarter, we onboarded 300 people.
