Resources help improve app critique skills

I write about this in my Portfolio Playbook, where I break down the hiring process.
This is a way for interviewers to evaluate your UX, visual and interaction design skills, product thinking, communication skills, and ability to give feedback.
You will be evaluated on a few key things.

1. Design skills

How much do you understand core UI concepts such as typography, hierarchy, layouts, color theory?
How well do you understand core UX concepts such as accessibility, user journey, information architecture, usability, interactions, heuristics, etc.?

2. Product thinking

Can you identify the value proposition and target users of the app?
Can you analyse if the designed experience achieves the objectives of the app that you recognised earlier?

3. Communication skills

As a designer, the ability to communicate feedback effectively is really important.
Can you hold a productive discussion with your peers?
Can you provide reasons for your feedback?
How do you react to disagreements?

Knowing this, you'll be able to ask better questions.
