Knowing when to change your design approach

You can only make educated guesses and assumptions—it’s tough to know if your design approach is wrong.
Here are some signs:
  • It’s hard to predict inputs.
  • Certain parts aren’t working as expected.
  • Teams are siloed, and people are duplicating work.
  • Metrics, feedback, post-launch issues—infighting and unhappy stakeholders.
And the list goes on.
Remember, these are just best practices and there’s no one right way.
