Can you give me some tips on how to present my design process or handle tough questions about my design choices?

For context: I’ve got my 4th interview coming up with a big multinational, and this one is focused on presenting the assignment they gave me last week.

The hiring managers will be judging you on a few spectrums:

  • How you mange time
  • How you answer questions
  • What went into the your decisions
  • How you handle tough questions or feedback

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Practice a few times beforehand
  • Follow up if you didn’t understand the questions or need more clarity
  • It’s ok to say “I don’t know” or “I didn’t have time” — but then say, “I probably would do XYZ”
At the end of the day, it’s actually no different from presenting to a client.
