8-step formula for a landing page

1. Hero:

• Your value proposition in your heading
• Eye-catching product visual
• One clear call-to-action
• Social proof

2. Problem agitation:

• Mention the biggest pain point
• Describe the impact of not solving the problem

3. Customer’s transformation:

• The desired outcome and why this matters

4. Social proof:

• Add credibility with testimonials
• Build trust with a photo, name, and their role

5. Highlight benefits:

• Keep it concise and jargon-free
• Talk about 3 features as customer benefits

6. Pricing:

• Include pricing options, i.e. down-sell, main offer, up-sell
• ~5 bullets on what they get focused on benefits
• Bonus: add urgency

7. FAQ:

• Handle your main objections 5-7
• Be transparent and honest
• Include refund policy

8. End with call-to-action:

• Reword value proposition
• Reword transformation
• Final call-to-action

Landing page’s iterative process

I don't have a perfect process, but steps I typically take:
1. Write each section (make sure I pull from customer testimonials, or research so it's in their language)
2. Build it with visuals (so it's real)
3. First round of feedback (with target personas)
4. Update (add interactions to make it more polished)
5. Launch and measure traffic + sales
6. Then continue to refine based on questions I get around the product/service
7. Testing pricing/discounts/value prop positioning
